Nathan stood in what seemed to be his own private waiting area in the airport. He clutched tight the round trip ticket to Kermit, Texas. The only thing that was continuously running through his head was, 'Could it be true?' He was afraid to believe it, but at the same time, he was afraid not to.
Would the girl know anything about him? Had she been searching for him? Did she have his eyes or his nose? Was she a good student? Did she have a good family? Nathan wasn't sure what to think. He had no real connection to the girl but he for some reason, felt an almost unnatural pull toward wanting to know her, feeling like in a way, he already did.
So when the announcement came throughout the airport, now boarding to Kermit, Nathan was unusually nervous to get on the plane. He knew that he had to however. If for nothing else, to put an end to the questions.
