I watched the episode twice tonight, or rather, it played on my television twice. I watched about five minutes of it. I turned it on and in less than those five minutes, my boyfriend was in the room needing to talk to me (right that moment!) about something, like meal planning for the next day or the schedule of chicken care or whatever. Since I wasn't getting to watch my show anyway, I got up and started making the meals he was talking about, which led to getting the kids in for dessert, which led to having them do their kitchen chores (which included instructions on said chores, like how you do not put muffin tins in the dishwasher, same for turkey roasters), and then I packed my lunch, consulted on getting the incubator running, talked to the kids about their chores for the next day, listened as both kids and boyfriend gave their impressions of the TV show THEY had time to stop and stare at but every time I did they were asking me for something else...and I am reminded of why I don't watch TV. The times when I try to watch it, it's ( ... )

Claire didn't eat the breakfast he fixed or drink any of the orange juice he poured.

I wonder why Sylar's telekinesis shows up in his DNA, but nothing else? Maybe something about it being his first power?

I love how smug Noah is to Matt.

Peter and his strange nightmares... He doesn't seem traumatized by them so much as trying to figure them out.

I like how Linderman leaves DL twisting in the wind.

Okay, I finished it! Woo-hoo!

I also cut and froze eleven pounds of peaches and 15 ounces of pesto.

And watched The Fix and Distractions with my son, who was helping cut peaches. He has this elaborate theory about how Peter and Claude are in a 'mindscape' when they're invisible, meaning that beyond simply being out of sight, they're also literally out of mind for everyone and only the most overt and invasive actions on their part draw attention. He has another theory for Jessica/Niki. Instead of her having a split personality, Jessica is a from an evil parallel universe, but her power is that she's figured out how to cross the barrier and lock her good twin (Niki) in the other dimension.

His theories are interesting!
