About the name thing - that's true. Micah's last name on Heroes wiki is Sanders. American custom would dictate his name should be Micah Hawkins if he's DL's son. Is it possible Nikki wasn't married when Micah was born? I never changed my last name. When I had my son, I recall the hospital was absolutely adamant that I had to show a marriage certificate before they'd allow me to use my husband's last name for him, and once they had seen the marriage certificate, they were equally adamant that I couldn't use any other last name for him than my husband's (ie, I couldn't use my own last name if I were married). They were ridiculous about it, but I was in a lengthy, difficult labor or recovering from it and rather distracted and upset for the whole thing
