> Ah-hah! The thing that finally gets Peter to crack? Adam empathizing with him, or trying to, or pretending to. "You've been through something awful, haven't you?" "I'm Peter."

> "Just a little one" "I'll up your dose". Was that latter comment a threat? Or a promise? I think it was a threat.

> I find it unreasonable that it would take an entire month for Peter to share his name with Adam, or vice versa. I find it unreasonable that it would take two months for Peter to get anything out of Elle about herself. And I find it almost endlessly improbable that Peter wouldn't have noticed this was a prison until two months had passed.

> Angela's fondling of Heidi is highly creepy. I think Heidi detects that there's something very, very wrong there.

> I notice Adam has a book in his cell.

> By the time a building is that far gone, anyone in it is dead.

That scene with Heidi and Angela was awesome. And yes, Angela is unbelievably creepy! It reminded me that under that grieving mother was a cold hearted conniving bitch. I love her.

> So, Peter was confined for a month. "Day number five without the meds." Ah, that's useful to know. It's about the same length of time I used in The Prisoner, but that was just me using a length of time that was plot-useful.

> Ah ... Maya was separate from Alejandro for three months! That actually makes me feel better about her. This episode, of all, oddly gives me sympathy for the wonder twins.

> That is a horrible, horrible excuse for a bouncer. If an angry guy shows up looking for a specific woman, whom you know is inside dancing with a different guy, you do NOT participate. In fact, it's better to say, "I haven't seen her" and encourage the guy to go check some other bar, than to let him inside so he can have a domestic argument, and probably violence, out on the floor of your employer's establishment. The bouncer is an IDIOT. He indirectly caused that murder ( ... )

I thought Peter was there for three months. He said to elle that he had known her for two.

You make a very good point about the bouncer.

You make an incredible point about the hospital!

I thought the exact same thing about Peter's smile. I think he could do psycho really well. Have you seen his five minutes in Gamer? google milo and gamer and watch the youtube vid. He's only in two scenes, but wow, are they f'ed up!

No Hiro, Claire or Noah in the ep either.

Yeah, I've seen crazy Milo and ... yeah, he does it well!

And you're totally right, three months, not one! What the hell was I thinking? They even have these handy little black screens with the white writing telling us exactly how much time has passed!

I hadn't noticed the absence of the others, but now that you point them out, yeah. No Matt or Mohinder either.

As much as I hate that they killed him off, I love D.L.'s death scene. It's so unexpected and tragic and pointless. That after all he'd been through, to be killed by some schmuck in a club smacks of real life, IMO. I think the way his character was written in this episode is brilliant.

Love getting a glimpse of Monica, Nana, and cousin at the funeral. That was a nice touch.

Yeah, I'm of two minds with it. It was a smack of realism, and that's cool. I also like stories where even if the main character(s) have super powers, they can still make mistakes, be taken down a peg, and fail. But ... I hate canon inconsistency, especially when it's done to kill off a character who was otherwise a great asset to the storyline. It had been shown that DL could dodge/ignore/phase around bullets even when he did not know they were coming (when Jessica used a sniper rifle to shoot at him from the bushes). He knew the schmuck was trouble and even if he didn't see the gun in enough time to react, he should have seen the gesture. He had way more "time to react" than he had with Jessica's sniper rounds, yet he avoided those and was affected by the snub-nosed pistol ( ... )

God, you are totally right that he should have been able to phase that bullet! Ergh! Now I am frustrated with that writing.

They have him an unblemished hero farewell so it was easier to lionize him at the funeral and so as to deepen Niki's guilt over getting him killed with her personality problem.

His death is what brings Niki to Nana and gives her the idea to move Micah in with her, presumably, too.
