Questions you would really like to see answered by the writers for Heroes

An idea I've been toying with recently, is finding a/the principle writer or creative force for Heroes and asking them some questions about the plot. The show's over; it's not being revived; the graphic novels are shuttered; so why not satisfy a few fan's curiosity ( Read more... )

1. I heard rumor that each season was to have new Heroes and the plan was to not continue with the old ones. What happened? I heard that Sylar was supposed to die in Season 1. Was that true?

2. Do they think the writers strike impacted the quality of the show?

3. If they were to do a made for tv movie, two part special or whatever, what story lines would they have wrapped up and how?

4. Do they know if Syfy is going to pick up this show and do anything with it?

That's really all I got.

Oh, have you heard that Syfy was going to pick up the show? That's certainly happened before, like with Babylon 5 changing networks.

Sylar was supposed to die in S1, yes. He was such a fan favorite they wrote him/added him as a main character into S2, etc.

Apparently they had writers (and directors) popping in and out of the show. It effected the quality and continuity which is why it had issues.

Interesting idea!

1. If you had it to do over again, how would you change the show?'

2. What was the thought process behind how certain characters just vanished like Micah, Molly, the girl Peter ported to the future... Was there thoughts on this or was it oversight?

3.what had been the original idea for an ending or even mid series an ending and was the one that happened what you had envisioned?

4. (I'd agree with vickyblueeyez on her Q's too especially #3!

Regarding #2: at least in the cases of Micah and Molly, their storylines were continued in the graphic novels.

In most cases you can find them posted page by page in the Heroes wiki. http://heroeswiki.com/Main_Page

1)Why was Nathan killed off? It killed a major fandom. I feel NBC decided between Sylar & Nathan and chose wrongly.
2) Was there ever plans to repower Peter in his original matter?

I wish I could ask this Peter, but... My queetion is, if Heroes had continued, would Peter at some point have forgiven Sylar, or what would their relationship have been like?

(NO. Not that relationship.)

Yeah, I don't think we'd have ever seen an on screen slash between them, but I would like to know if they were planning for Sylar to immediately relapse, struggle and slowly get better, or if his 'problem' was gone entirely now and he'd be a hero all the way through.

Yes to Peter's scar! I thought that's why they took away his healing, so he could get that scar.
