Miles makes his way through the Mansion, searching for Tsuzuki. He has a few questions for the shinigami detective, after his conversations with Mikami and Merlin.

He finds it almost amusing that he's gone from lost in nothing to being overbooked for investigations.

Tsuzuki "two faced"? he thinks to himself, then sighs. Well, considering

He's likely to find him in the kitchen, and if this happens to be the night that Mikami showed up and put the poor shinigami in a tizzy, he's sitting at the table with a glass and an open bottle of sake in front of him. He's not drunk yet, but he's slowly getting there.

But he looks up from his glass and manages a cheery if forced smile. "Hey there, Miles, how's it going?" he says, glad for a familiar and friendly face.

"Well..." Miles pauses, considering. "Eventful and busy, to tell the truth."

He eyes the sake. "Are you feeling alright?"

He glances at the bottle and down at his half-emptied glass. "Well, ah, it's been a bit unsettling tonight, so I needed a couple to resettle my nerves again," he admits, with a nervous laugh. Growing serious, he adds, "I hope you haven't met that Mikami fellow. He and I... well, saying we had words is an understatement at best."

Miles cringes. "Actually, that's part of why I was looking for you." He looks at Tsuzuki apologetically.

He pulls the chair opposite Tsuzuki out, but raises his eyebrows questioningly before simply inviting himself to sit.
