It didn't feel like a Monday, but I'm not sure what day it did feel like.

I slipped and fell yesterday, so my right side is bruised, so I just did a flat course on the elliptical, figuring movement was good but definitely not pushing myself.  ( which shows in the time )

i need a punny tag for my workplace, people: h: mike w., gymming it up, harvard: ext.: course: western thought, food: hbs

aristotle vs plato onwingsofeagles October 16 2007, 18:16:15 UTC
My Dad had a brilliant concise summation of Aristotle and Plato that I have long since forgotten. It does seem to me that Aristotle if the more epirical of the two -- look for real world evidence, kind of the science guy. I'm sure your Dad would be more articulate.

So, you want to come and work for me? I forgot what it's like working for an incredibly famous guy .... life was slowing down. I shudder to think what Thursday is going to be like.

I am proud that you tackled part of your workspace :)
Now about those boxes in your room ....
:D

Yeah, during a part of class I was awake for, the professor said some about how Aristotle was dealing with the world as it is whereas Plato was dealing with the thought world. (Aristotle discusses the governments that currently exist, whereas Plato discusses what the ideal city/government would look like.) So one would think I would like Aristotle better, but it doesn't actually fall out that way -- or at least hasn't so far.

I'll keep my job, thanks very much :)

I'm working on my room. I have actual motivation 'cause I think my massage (and bartending) books are in one of my boxes (I thought they were on my bookshelves, but I can't find them).
