MaryAlice told me on Thursday that Wash (Alan Tudyk) was in 28 Days.

It might be because of the accent he uses (German, maybe? It's been a while since I've seen it.). But, yes, it's him, and he's absolutely hysterical and the best part of the movie, so you should rewatch! :)

She said French. I honestly don't remember -- I saw the movie on a bus trip between school and home. She told me the part about how they were advised to try a plant and then a dog before trying a relationship again and then the scene with him trying to return the plant. This felt vaguely familiar to me, but I really don't remember all that much of the movie. I am okay with blaming the accent for why I didn't recognize him, though.

The plant and the dog! Yes! That part's at the very end, and is my favorite in the entire movie.

(BUT IT IS TOTALLY THE ACCENT'S FAULT!)

Had you seen all of Firefly when you watched it? Maybe he just wasn't INGRAINED in your brain yet. Or, you know. It was the accent. Whichever ;).

If I recognized Azura Skye it had to have been after "Help" aired, and IMDb tells me that episode aired 15 October 2002 (the same autumn that Firefly aired).

I have a March 27th, 2005, entry in which I comment on recognizing Azura Skye in Red Dragon when channel-surfing and mention having recognized her in 28 Days as well.

So I have those two dates bracketing when I must have seen it but otherwise don't know.

Really? Why?

I really like the melody and don't have problems with theology of any of the lyrics (::looks them up just to be sure:: well, I'm always troubled by blood atonement, though I don't actually remember that line from Friday; I must have blinked or something).
