I got my regular cavity filled today.  (Root canal is next Wednesday.)  I don't remember the procedure taking this long when I had my first cavity six years ago or whatever

I asked the young guy who was assisting (named Eric B., since apparently everyone I know nowadays is named Eric) if he was getting apprenticed in dentistry and wisecracks.

I never watched M*A*S*H, so I have no verdict on that. Certainly Comedy Dentist is something that could go poorly, but the one I have does it in a way that I enjoy.
