Re: the asparagus catastrophe. When I was in highschool, I several times had my hair blow in mouth and swallowed it so that I had to pull it out of my throat. Not pleasant. I sympathize.

I'm often at pains to point out that not *all* teenagers are bad, since I was pretty good. I personally don't want anything I have to take care of -- chlidren, pets, or plants. Me, my books and computer, and I'm content.

I was a great teenager; I was kind of a slut, but other than that one failing, I was stellar in every way. LOL
