At one point this afternoon I think weather.com said "rain and freezing rain and windy."  Amanda thought it looked more like snow, and looking out the window I thought she was right.  Little bits of white falling, and definitely looked white on the ground

Call that winter? I'm in favor of "absolutely disgusting." It's like soap out there. I suggest we go get ourselves a proper January somewhere.

I think "Linger" was what first got me into Jonatha Brooke. I have a whole lot of mp3s of her if you'd like more. (I also have a couple other Melissa Etheridge. I was *this* close to posting "Sleep" as well.)

This winter so far has been so unwinterlike and it makes me sad. I do enjoy autumn and spring, but I want winter in between them. And my love for cold temperatures isn't shared by very many (my love for snow is shared by more, but still) so I still hear all the complaints without having much personal joy. (Cold rain and slush are not my favorite aspects of weather.)

I got "Sleep" years ago because of a friend. "Breathe" is a new one to me thanks to seanarenay's Breathless: a Simon/River soundtrack.

I have "I'll Try" but I don't know "No Net Below."
