I've never had any real involvement with Amanda Palmer, but I have friends who were fans. I first heard about the Evelyn Evelyn project I have no idea where, but I heard about it in a way that made me think it was Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley pretending to be conjoined twins. How this was "edgy" or "artsy" or whatever was totally lost on me,

I used to be such a fan. I really admired Amanda Palmer in the past, but this has just been too much.

Same here. It bugs me tht she's marketed herself as being this alterna-"feminist" vibe, but is unafraid to what brings in the money.
