I would go with the larger ones. 8.5oz of tea/hot chocolate/coffee/whatever is never enough, and I always end up re-filling at least once. But that's just me. :)

I was going to email you - cuz I saw the aunt in question. I would go with larger as well. 8 oz isn't very big at all.
