Yup, the Yahoo one's my primary e-mail address.

At the moment I'm more interested in having less to move ;) but if you have anything you think I'd love feel free to let me know.

Hermione's mom appreciates the nomination. I wasn't having a good day.
If you still have inspirational magnets at the end of your purge, I can use them at work. They brighten up my file cabinets.

Ahh, purging=love, because I'm a true believer of the "one person's trash is another person's treasure" motto. I collect magnets (I need to post a picture of them on my new fridge!), so I'd love the "discover the wonder" one if you still have it (but by ALL MEANS, your mother is first in line! :)).

Having just moved (and with a few things still to unpack), I'm wishing you the most painless process possible...

Others can be first for magnets. I have the batch from a previous purge. So I'll just take the orphans.

If that link takes me to the correct picture I'm not sure how those shoes qualify as "sandals" (the wedges, American Eagle Mary Janes with gray and green and blue flowers on them), but I agree that they are cute. If I liked wedges at all (which I don't, I despise them), I might consider a pair myself.

Yes, the link is correct. I was using a perhaps overly broad definition of "sandal" -- though pulling up Wikipedia just now, they list Mary Janes as a type of sandal.

*shrugs a bit* I guess I'm used to thinking of sandals as being "shoes that show your toes" and Mary Janes just don't fit that category.

I wish the Wiki article had some kind of bibliographical link so I could learn where the author got the information that Mary Janes were sandals, then I'd find it easier to believe (what can I say? An encyclopedia by the people, for the people? Needs some hella-good resources to back it up. *chuckles* But I'm sure you'd agree with that, being one who is constantly looking for proofs and concretions and such. You always like to know where information is coming from).

Yeah, I almost caveated that Wikipedia is of course not an impeccable source of information. And up top when they define "sandal" they say, "the common understanding is that a sandal reveals most or all of the foot (especially the toes) to view," which is more in keeping with your understanding of the term.
