PLAGIARISM!!!!
So, I was looking for a new story to read on ff.net and I came across a HG/SB Timeturner story that was titled "Time Travel" by RoseT7100. Creative, I know. I started to read and it seemed familiar, like I had read it before, so I skipped to the end to see if I remembered it, and I did.... only it was written by a different author!! It was the story "Smells Like Sirius Black" by Soap on mugglenet, copy pasted word for word.
I couldn't believe the nerve of this person. She had the audacity to put "I hope you enjoy the stories I write." at the bottom of her profile, there were no author's notes whatsoever, and at the end of the story, she wrote the words "sequel anybody?" Well, the sequel is also already written and completed on mugglenet. It's called "Polly", which means that RoseT7100 is most likely planning to copy paste that one word for word as well and try to pass it off as her own.
What made me even angrier, not that it's their fault, was that she had several reviews that were raving about her story and begging for a sequel. Every time I see a new review, I get very tempted to PM every one of them to tell them the story's plagiarized.
What is it that makes a braintrust like this think that they'll get away with it, nobody the wiser?! Do they just not give a shit?! In case nobody told you when you were 10, plagiarism is bad. It's stealing somebody else's hard work, and you can lose your fanfiction account over it, not to mention your credibility and any respect whatsoever! It makes the readers wonder if you've actually written anything or if you've just plagiarized all of your stories.
If by any chance RoseT7100 is reading this, however unlikely, I really really hope you get kicked off of ff.net. It would be nice if you would fess up, apologize to Soap and your readers and delete the story, but I have a feeling you wont since Soap already called you out for ripping her off and you haven't done anything about it. It's sad, really, if you're gonna steal somebody's work, you could at least not be a complete idiot and change a few things so it is slightly different... or better yet... DON'T STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK!!!

I really hope this makes you as angry as I am right now. If it does, please show the real author, Soap, some support and read her story. It's well worth it. And please help me give RoseT7100 a really good verbal ass kicking.
