Because I know you all care, I totally conquered the GRE today. Surpassed my goal. INSAAAAAAANE. The math slayed me, but apparently it only did so because I was doing well on it and getting impossibly challenging questions. Apparently I am a really excellent guesser.

Lady: Is [struggles to start name]--
Me: Definitely not.
Lady: ...?
Me: You've got the wrong number.
Lady: This isn't 619- [mine starts with 858!]
Me: Nope.

I just remembered the time in my first year of college that my innocent, studious (!) roommate came back from the library and reported a guy jerking off a couple tables over. Loudly. Reclaiming random memories is fun (except when they're totally embarrassing).
This is me, not studying for the GRE anymore tonight. Angst. -

You might have heard of the case of the Texan man who was executed for a crime that, based on all conceivable evidence, he did not commit. There have been other cases where it kinda looked the person might have been innocent (and fringe elements harped on it to themselves), but in this case? My roommate's girlfriend's dog has been kidnapped from a 7-11. No, really! The dognappers are Mexican extortionists who are demanding payment. Also, they now claim to have brought the dog to Tijuana, where, since it has no paperwork to cross back into the US, it will be trapped. Dudes. Remember 'real America' where Palin spoke? Obama actually WON that county. Um. Oops?
