I mean...if you talk about fandom in an intellectual (and not gay porn) way, maybe it WOULD fly. I have a friend going to MIT doing her master's thesis on fandom and trolling and wank. So. :D

Don't you do non-fiction-related gay outreach stuff? cindelius hasn't roped you into that yet?

That may be a better alternative than reading and editing gay porn based on fictional characters.

Then again, if it were me, I'd probably put it down anyway. ;-)

Also, being a rich white female from suburban Bay Area doesn't automatically disqualify you. They're asking why you're unique and interesting; surely you've done some stuff that's unique and interesting? Particularly since leaving home?
