Beta Sign-Ups
Below you will find the Beta sign-up form for hermionebigbang. Just copy and paste this template into a comment and complete it. Beta sign-ups close on June 26, 2009.
After you've signed up, be sure to request membership for hermionebigbang if you haven't already. We will be using that community for communication with the participants, so make sure you've friended it and are also watching it. If you don't belong to LJ, please bookmark the community and email us at hermione.mods@gmail.com so that we can keep you updated with any F-locked information shown to participants.
Please be as detailed as you can. Remember that fics will be a minimum of 20K. Sometimes artists ask for a beta as well. Please note if you can help an artist or if you're familiar with other fandoms that might help an author writing a crossover. While sign-ups for betas don't close for a while, we would appreciate you signing-up as soon as you can so that we can have you begin working with any authors who request help.

Note: Please read the rules and check through the faq before you sign up. Part of your function as a beta will be to let authors know if their fic doesn't fulfil the requirements of the challenge. The goal of this fest is to have quality longer Hermione-centric fics, so we need strong betas who aren't afraid of working with authors to make their story the best possible that it can be. If you're also signing up as an author or an artist, please consider the amount of time that you'd have to act as a beta while also working on your fic or art. The deadlines will be the same.
