I thought this was a wonderful piece of artwork, pennswoods. I was so pleased to get the chance to write something for it.

I'm so thrilled you wrote fic for it and I love that the mods incorporated this bit of turnabout to the bang. And I loved that you managed to incorporate every element about Hermione (the book, the sword) into the fic.

That the book turned out to be The Tales of Beedle the Bard gave me a good chuckle as I wasn't expecting that one!

Re. incorporating everything about her into the fic, i felt that since the art is the important part of this conglomeration, the fic should zone in on as many elements of the art as possible. so that was sort of my aim when i included all of those aspects of the picture into the fic.

i'm curious - what did you envision the book to be? i'm glad i surprised you; i often aim to do that, and this time i wasn't aiming!
