I can't say how much I enjoyed reading this. It was wonderful, and made cold-hearted me tear up. Such a simple misunderstanding that changed the course of their lives.

Oh, lovely! *claps* While the reasons for them having been kept a part were sad in that it was such a simple misunderstanding, I think that for the way you've painted both of them, that it was a very good thing in the end. They really got to see what else was out there, and fall in love (even more deeply this time) all over again. I loved the focus on their assignment, and the attention to Hermione's promotion, and even the subtle hints of Harry and Ginny (with Harry/Luna in the background). And they get together in teh end! Plus: waffles!! Awesome job. :-)

This was brilliant. I absolutely loved the interactions between the characters, all of it.

The assignment with the castle was fascinating. I'm kind of sad that we didn't learn more about it; who lived there, why it was abandoned, what they were doing with all those magical artifacts, etc., but I suppose it wasn't that important to the plot. Some mysteries are not meant to be solved, I guess ....

When Hermione confessed, I think I stopped breathing for a minute.

And then, when Draco showed up and forced her to listen to him ... you got me teary eyed with that misunderstanding, and I'll have you know that is very hard to do.

It feels just a tad unfinished because of the whole Theo/Daphne-Blaise/Ginny bit and the question of who told Astoria and what's up with her (sounds like denial to me), but the note at the end was absolutely perfect. <3

I wish my fic had such a good ending, sigh.

Anyway, I loved the story. :)
