Birthday, Part 1.

At 8:50 PM, it's official: I am 21.

Well, we can't go out to get a drink because my mom is in searing pain---the weather is becoming rainy, and that makes her hip act up.  Seriously.

But otherwise, I've had a pretty cool birthday.

Yeah, so was I because they were so original and creative, but I had a feeling the singers would edge out in front. And I wish Prince Poppycock had done better because he is so totally Vegas.

Thank you! I had a glass of Riesling, so it's all good. My dad poked fun at how I sipped at it over the course of a few hours. Thanks, the cake was most delicious (with plenty left over).

I think I like it---it's simultaneously sweet and tart. Gluten-free, home-made chocolate cake with home-made chocolate icing. It tastes better than it sounds.
