Do not want to read 10 chapters of James Fenimore Cooper's The Deerslayer (one of the prequels to Last of the Mohicans). Yes. It's alright, though. I went to a wedding last weekend and I'm going camping this weekend, so it's not all bad.

No, I haven't yet, but my professor brought it up in class and mentioned how entertaining it was, but also said that Twain may have been influenced by Cooper (in using dialect and exploring interracial frienships, for instance).

It is very amusing indeed when you realize so-called "classics" make some pretty big errors in story-telling themselves. I guess quality control is something you have to grow into.

Fandom-wide kink memes can be kind of amazing things. The Watchmen kink meme has been going for years. It's practically the social hub of the whole fandom.

Speaking of, I'll take four fandoms, please! ;)

Yes, definitely. Probably the biggest issue is his use of "the former" and "the latter" instead of names, so readers have to go back and check who it is he's talking about.

Cool. That's good to know. This one seems to be growing and growing; I hope it becomes like the Watchmen kink meme. That'd be awesome. I love all of the creativity of the posts.
