That's it! I'm sick of politics! I'm sick of the speculation, the advertising, the name-calling, the obnoxious reports about every little thing that the candidates do or say! I am removing myself from society from the next few days and living in a cave/under a rock/in a deep hole in the ground! I just need a cave, hole or rock that has enough

Osama bin Laden swears by Pakistan, I hear ;) And then at America, but that's to be expected.
I'd go with Malcolm Reynolds/Hoban Washburne; Mal's got executive experience and is a war hero, as well as being plain-spoken but inspiring, and Wash is personable and balances the ticket nicely. Zoe as Secretary of Defense, Kaylee for Transportation, Simon for Surgeon General, Jayne for public relations as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and I think Book would do well in the Department of Education (especially given that the one we've got now is "Spelling"). Inara, I think, has the diplomacy and etiquette to be in a First Lady role, even if she wasn't married to Mal ( ... )

Ooh, I like this Mal/Wash ticket. Inara could be both the First Lady and the Secretary of State. River could be the Attorney General (she's smart and intimidating).
Here's the Heroes White House as I see it:
President: Nathan Petrelli
Vice-President: Matt Parkman
Secretary of State: Adam Monroe
Attorney General: Tracy Strauss
Secretary of Health Services: Peter Petrelli
Secretary of Defense: Claude Rains (Claude in a suit, yum)
Chief of Staff: Noah "HRG" Bennet
Who is Dennis Kucinich? What show is he from? I feel out of the loop for some reason.

Ohh, right, River. Definitely smart enough for Attorney General.
You know, I kind of love your Heroes ticket too. It'd be a nice, strong Law and Order ticket. And anything that involves Claude in a suit is, ahem, fantastic.
Heh. He's a Democratic congressman who was one of the real long-shot candidates in the primaries. But he supports gay marriage, and has seen a UFO. So...there's that.
