Poor Scottie. Poor toe.

Well, Scottie got his toe removed today.  They're sending it to the nearest university with a veterinary school to have it examined.  The vet who operated on him thinks the source of the pain and swelling was either a tumor or osteomylitis (a bone infection).  Well, since the new wound apparently won't touch the ground, it will heal pretty quickly

Oh god, poor baby!

I really hope he feels better quickly now that the source of the pain is gone. Dogs should not cry. D8

*hugs* I hope your dog gets better! I would be a complete mess if it was my dog.
