I'm watching Gone with the Wind on AMC. I first saw it when I was about 15 or 16, and I immediately loved it, with all its sweeping, melodramatic grandeur. I still love it, though I can definitely see why it's viewed as problematic. I guess my inner teenager just can't let go of it.

Ooh, interesting. I'm from Missouri, a border state, and so know nothing of such things. They told us more about bushwackers (Confederacy) and jayhawkers (Union) and their guerilla warfare in history class.
