Oh God, I turn 23 tomorrow.  That feels too soon, somehow.  I went to a job fair today.  Am actually considering joining the Peace Corps.

I swear I'll do a fandom-related post soon, probably after Netflix finally sends Game of Thrones, which I had a really vivid dream about last night, despite not having seen an episode yet.  WTF, brain?

Thanks! Nothing new, really, but my mom and I did hang out in an Irish-American pub, complete with an Irish rock band (and accents), so it was all good.

Happy early birthday! Peace corp is awesome but hella hard to get into. Buckle down on foreign languages if you want to get in - the more you speak, the better your chances of being accepted.

Thanks! I speak some Spanish, but I also have a Gender Studies certificate, which is good for that, too, because one component of working with local communities involves helping figure out and work on gender issues.
