I decided to read Twilight so that I could write a research paper on it stating how anti-feminist it is and how unhealthy the relationships are in the series.

Well, I hate it. I don't hate the hype. I hate it: the characters, the writing style, the vampire mythology, everything. And I'm getting really annoyed every time I find a fic that crosses ( Read more... )

Eeee... deleting posts is an insta-ban, iirc. It's okay, girl, I feel your pain. I've done stupid things IRL that wound up on the internet... and landed in Encyclopedia Dramatica. T_T Granted, they don't have my NAME, which is a blessing. But still.

You can't delete your own posts? Jesus! That comm has so many rules: you can't edit the original text of your own post (because God forbid you try to clear up what you were trying to say or delete some unnecessary text), and now you can't clean up your own messes! And how can they figure out who deleted it anyway (other than reading this post, and then they'd need to find either a post or a comment with a username link to my journal, which could take a while)?

That's funny. But how do you know they meant you? 500 hundred people could've done the exact same thing they were talking about. But then, I don't frequent Encyclopedia Dramatica, so I don't really know. But it is good that it's anonymous.

That's...interesting, but I only watched about the first mimute of the video because I agree with Stephen King: JKR can write and SMeyer can't. It's as simple as that.

ROFLOL. Somebody really has no clue who they're ranting about. ;) I haven't really read King's stuff, but I do know that he's probably qualified to bash SMeyer, considering that he's written some of the best horror literature of the last half of the 20th century. Sure some of his stuff may not be classic literature, but some of it is amazing, apparently (like Misery). And no one in his books sparkles.
