Band of Brothers is on marathoning on Spike!  I watched all ten episodes last summer, and I can honestly say it's my most favorite miniseries ever.  It's just perfect.  On every level.  I don't even know.  I've only caught the last two episodes this time around, but it holds up the second time around.

Band of Brothers is on my list of TV shows to rent one day. It looks so incredible, and my parents watched it when I was in high school (I was either too young or too busy to watch with them) and raved about it. Looking forward to seeing it for myself!

You definitely should. It's fantastic. The first three episodes are kind of a push to get through, but once you really get to know the characters, it's wonderful (or as wonderful as a realistic depiction of war can be).
