WASN'T IT GREAT?? OMIGOD!
TOTAL IB VIBES!
I thought Red Skull was MEAN as hell! He looks SO super creepy when he smiles D:

I kind of love that Steve has no experience with women or men. It's just so cute. I think I might have a virgin kink.
Yup Yup 90+ years old virgin! Only kissed 2 times..
He is SO adorable all nervous around women!

I thought Peggy was SO badass!
Captain America was ALL about Steve pretty much XD
I really loved that Colonel played by Tommy Lee Jones! <3 Had some really nice/funy scenes XD

YES! I love the Howling Commandos! <33333

BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!*tears everywhere again*

"You don't just pat Thor on the arm," and some people laughed.

IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!! But oh my God, that ending! Way to leave us hanging, movie!
What did you think of that song? It was like the Allied version of "Springtime for Hitler," only 100 times cheesier.
So many IB vibes! I want to write a crossover, but I don't have any ideas. I want Aldo interacting with Dum-Dum Dugan (the bowler hat guy), for some reason.
He was MEAN, but I like him that way. Eek, that smile! *shivers* I thought it was super-creepy when he was standing in the shadows and we could all tell he looked different than at the beginning, but we couldn't see his face.

He's so cute when he's awkward! That blonde girl was kind of a bitch, though.

She was badass, but I'd like to have learned a little more about her, like why she has a British accent (she never did say) or why she wanted to join the army (how does she rank as an "agent"). I still liked her, though. She and Steve were so tragic, especially at the end ( ... )

I'll have to go read it!
Yes, I knew his USO outfit would be cheesy (that costume does not work in live-action), but I did not expect that musical number. At all.

It is patriotic, but I don't think they overdo it too much. They even make fun of overdoing it with the propaganda montage (which is how Cap was originally introduced in comics in 1941). The only really specifically "American" thing I felt was realizing that Cap is supposed to embody the American Dream (the idea that anyone in America can do/be whatever they want, regardless of size/gender/race/class/etc., as long as they really try). That idea has spread, but it started in the U. S. with that giant wave of 19th-century immigrants. And it doesn't always work out.
