Eeee, I saw that behind-the-scenes vid too! You know, I wasn't all that excited for The Hobbit (mostly because I was worried it would mean Martin Freeman would be unavailable for the second season of Sherlock), but watching that vid really stirred up all the nostalgia for the annual LOTR marathons we had on campus way back when. I think this is going to be great.

It's so cute with the sets and the blocking and everything! I hadn't thought about that aspect, but mostly, I thought it was never going to happen, like the Halo movie, because of all the delays (it's been like six years or something). But I loved how they showed Peter Jackson looking at a shot of Bilbo picking up the ring. This will be a ton of fun! :D
