So today, my mom and I went to the movies and saw The Fighter (Christian Bale = MIND BLOWN---must post more about that later). Later JoJo and I plowed through more of Series 11 of Top Gear (James and Richard on Japanese trains = adorkable). Then I watched Wedding Crashers (stupid but entertaining). God, I need to write something.

It's just the light of the (CGI) expanding sun in front of them, the hand holding, and the general sadness of it. But I think what I find prettiest about this scene is almost unspoken (by Nine, at least): this new Doctor needs his companion to see what he has seen and lose what he has lost. He needs something of an equal, and this is the moment where he gains it. If that makes any sense.
