I used to watch The Nanny too! :D
Two favourite moments were...

1. When the firemen come to the house and her mother tells her off for not wearing makeup and earring to bed.
2. When her and her friend are looking for apartments and they see a cockroach...

Fran: "Take off your shoe and squish it"
Friend: Takes off her shoe and squishes it with her bare foot, lol

They made a great job dubbing it. Maybe it's the kind of humor that's easier to translate but the show is funny in German, too!
