Um...congratulations? At least you don't have to stew anymore about whether or not to quit. And it reduces the chances of stabbing-related incarceration. Win-win!

It is definitely a relief to have someone lift the burden of an awful job from you, especially when you have plans in place. Now you don't have to worry about making the wrong (or non-optimal) decision. It simplifies things.

And it allows you to enjoy WisCon like a rock star. No responsibilities, no awful job awaiting your return. You win. Only those at your soon-to-be-former job don't know it.
