I moved to San Francisco just about five years ago.

It's a great city, and I love it lots. And in all that time, I had managed to avoid having my car being broken into.

Until yesterday.

Broken front passenger window, stolen stereo.

Dude, it was a $120 stereo, and further dude, it's a Kia. What the hell are you doing looking to steal anything

I was actually pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to get my window replaced -- and by how much it cost. I mean, I wasn't happy about the cost, but it was less than I expected. The $300 replacement iPod was more frustrating.

It was nice to be able to fix a problem so quickly with money. (Aside from the spending-money part, but you know what I mean.) I'm glad you're okay, and they didn't get anything irreplaceable. *hug*

That stinks on ice! Also, I'm thinking you really need that window now so you can run your car AC, since SF is in hell this week, according to the tv weatherman.
