I can't decide whether to be amused by this, or annoyed as all hell. I was randomly checking my Guestbook, to see if anyone signed it lately, and there's a private entry. Some 11 year old wrote me to tell me that someone was stealing my stories. So I follow a link and sure enough, someone has posted one of my bad horror stories on their website

Libraries usually have books of legal forms for people who don't feel like paying a lawyer; get one of those, and draft a Cease and Desist order. If it sounds legal enough, I bet you can scare them pretty bad :)

That's messed up. I really like how this person has the audacity at his start page to tell people not to steal his images. Ugh. You should sign up for yahoo or somethign and make a mirror site, except change it all to be YOUR stuff, and tell him you'll take his stuff down when he takes yours down.

Well his site is through geocities and my site is through geocities but geocities is run through Yahoo and I doubt they'd give a shit really. How do I do that mirror site thing? I don't know if I'd have time to go to such lengths, but it's an idea.

If you go to his page... hmmm... wel, I'm not sure how geocities works for uploapding, but if you go to each page of his site, and right click it, and go down to "view source" (I'm assuming you're using windows, not a mac, if you're on a mac I can't help ya :-p) that will bring up the HTML code. You might have to save and upload his pictures and such, but for the the majority of it can be done that way. Someone else might know a different way, but thats the only way I could think of...
