Yes, I think "strangely endearing" is perfect.

In that "people often wonder why they like me" way -- yeah, I get that. :)

I don't know about the taking apart bit unless of course it is critically taking apart concepts and stories. You certainly are endearing and funny.

Yeah, I think it missed me on the physical disassembling, but your point about critical dissection is well-taken.

Awkward and making people uncomfortable, I'll have to leave to others to decide. I'm sure many people feel that way at certain times.

As for making people uncomfortable, there are always your incidents of sport humping the deluded souls who think they can wrestle you. So there might be a grain of truth there.

It was just that one time (Roderick, and he's an OAF. Mordain escaped due to the Hrogn police) ! I blame university hazing indoctrination. I'm not sure why people who are half my size think they can throw me around. Bad math skills?

Do you feel misunderstood? If awkward, then you've found a large milieu of equally awkward. Wouldn't we all be a blast at a cocktail party! (Especially when the sport humping begins.....
(I tried this - got no spark of recognition at all,but then I mostly think these are kinda dumb. Stangely, the most apt one was based simply on my month of birth)

I don't particularly feel misunderstood or awkward, and I enjoy our parties very much.

I thought the results of the quiz were weird, but worded very definitively/aggressively, so I thought I would post it and see how other people reacted to it. I certainly don't see myself as a hacker-type personality - I'm too change-averse for that. There were a couple of things that rang true for me. The "as long as you are being funny and self-deprecating" bit is spot on, IMO. I'm always making smartass comments that people sometimes take badly if they don't get that I always include myself in the joke.

Anyway, these personality assessment things are usually kinda dumb. This one was a weird enough combo of totally whacked and true that I thought it might be worth typing about.
