Oh this is so very, very awesome and stuffed full of win. This joke was hilarious the first time and you've just made it better, with the outfits...and the sonic screwdrivers, and that adored bit from Guards, Guards.

I love that the Doctor Who group are very serious and with the point-making and the absolute adherences to canon...and then the Torchwood group are just random and crazy and insane and... they let just any old person in! Spotting the characters and the hidden wrist device and the frock coat...you win, really you do.

Yay! I'm so glad you like it! I always get nervous writing crack as I'm not sure anyone shares my sense of humour. Nice to know I'm not the only one :)

I'm always appreciative of crack, and I certainly think we share the same sense of humour, though yes writing crack still makes me think 'will anyone think this is funny but me?' and I write way more than is sensible. I think if you take an idea and run with it into as many strange places as you can and half the time look like you're having fun people will usually enjoy it too.

*sheepish look* It's entirely possible that I got a bit carried away at that point...

I rarely write crack because I get so worried about it - as I said above, in early drafts, I definitely forgot to bring the funny, so it takes a special occasion to bring it out in me. And entangled_now writes the fandom's best crack, so it's a tough gig to live up to :)
