*nod* I've been thinking something similar about Jack for a while now. 'Gorgeous enough' means nothing if someone's stupid or has a nasty personality. I think Jack looks for less tangible things too. And the point that Jack likes to be pleasantly surprised is a very good one for someone who's lived as long as Jack.
