Poor Ianto, he probably thought aliens had replaced Jack or something. I like the way you have Gwen knowing what it's really about though. When you mix cute with angst it's always lovely.

Gwen tends to get short shrift from most writers, although I know she's popular amongst the non-online fans. I'm trying to be kinder to her...

Personally, I think Gwen gets a bit too much hate... she's not perfect, but like all of them, she has her moments. And poor worried Ianto... so cute.

Gotta say think you for all of these drabbles, it's making the wait seem so much easier. Don't know what I'm gonna do when I'm out of town away from a computer for a week.

Awww, thanks :) I don't think I'd quite registered how many days it was - there's still 2 weeks to go! *wibble* That's a lot of drabbles...

I agree about Gwen - I'm not that *interested* in her as a character, but she definitely gets too much of a hard time from writers. And Jack likes her, so I'm trying to :)

I agree - although I rewatched EoD yesterday, and her last scenes in that are really great. It's easier to like her if you blame the writing...

I don't know... I guess the thing is, that even though she was the entry character in the first ep, and even though she is the "leading lady" or whatever, I never got this impression that she was supposed to tell me what I was supposed to be feeling. I just got the feeling she was going to share - in no uncertain terms how she was feeling with the audience. (Whether we liked it or not...) ::cough::

Erm, sorry for butting in. But it's nice to discuss things like this with others. All I'd get if I mentioned Torchwood in public here is a blank look, and I think my brother is getting a bit tired of hearing about it. I think if he hears "Oh, I read this one fanfic where..." one more time, he's gonna strangle me. :)

Now let me jump into the Gwen discussion: The problem with Gwen is the problem the entire show has: Not enough input from RTD. Cause the first ep she didn't annoy me at all.

And I have to say it's sad when your Gwen is better written then the one on the show.
