Most of what I have been teaching the first to weeks if required freshmen English classes. We are using interchange text books.

My classes are organized by major. This means that they vary quite a bit as some majors have low values on learning English, like my Phys ED class. But to my surprise it was my buddism class that is the biggest headache. ( Read more... )

Things are looking up.  After a near roit on the part of the English department, complete with burning tires and over turned cars, the admin finally agree to give me a new apartment.  Apparently major flooding in your apartment should be solved by turning on the floor heater to make the water evaporate...

Its been a busy couple of months.  Last month I took a dive trip to Jeju with Casey and Josh. We really lucked out with the weather this time and we rented scooters and putzed around the island.  It was nice to go with other people this time.  The diving was good but the visiblity was a bit crap.  The same German Kyopo gal was there helping ralph ( Read more... )
