The Problem With Atheists.
A friend of mine sent me a link to the BBC documentary The Trouble with Atheists.
Basically it is a strawman attack on Atheists that rehashes the same points that Ben Stein's Creationist funded movie called Expelled. both Movies have the same basic points:
-Science and Religion are the the same, so lets split the difference.

I like your points about science as a tool.
It never, ever fails to amaze me that, when I teach RE in school, and I do approach it from the perspective of "this is what some people believe, what you think is up to you", kids always, ALWAYS question the dogma. Like...we looked at creationism stories (the contentious issue!) and one or two fervent church-going kids said "IT'S TRUE, GOD DID IT!" and the rest of them really questioned how anyone knew, or where God came from, or why the Earth was made.
I've had similar questioning where kids say "But how do you know God even exists? And WTF is with the Resurrection?"
It's awesome. Just sayin'.
