I am back to normal, as I would assume of the lot of you. Not a moment too soon; would that we'd have had our full number on the watch these past few days. Some destructive creature was at play. Thankfully, its work appears to have ceased. though should you happen across a spike-shelled reptiAmong others, Spear's home in Section Three was razed. ( Read more... )

I'd no idea you dabbled in animal husbandry.

Thank you for the offer, Reed. And in exchange for putting you out, I can purchase the new bed.

I am glad to hear that you have returned to normal. I am as well; the events of the past few days were very ill-timed.

Indeed; I scarcely think you'd have found yourself trouble so were you at your usual strength. Such burdens as we all must bear from time to time. And fret not for the cost of your bed; I've no want of coin.

I only hope you enjoy your stay.

Yes. If not for that strange form, I am certain I would have been able to fend off the creature myself. As it is, I thank you for your assistance.

Then how else can I make this up to you?

Think naught of it. Need I reason or reward to aid others?

What? Are you guys all right?

I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about.

We are well. The beast made good its escape, as did we.

You saw it, then?

That's good. I'm glad you're all okay.

I fought it before I turned back. He turned back into someone too, but I didn't get a good enough look.

Oh? So that's what that noise was I heard. Good to know everyone seems okay. :)

Her home was not the only one, though there was no lack of noise. Worry not for us. Where do you reside?

Ah, typically Section 1, but I've been staying in Section 3 as of late. :)

Then you ought to have heard it. I hope you and your 'recent' home were spared any trouble.

Ugh, sucks man. That's nice of you to help her out, though. Seems like I'm missing all the action in the Bazaar these days.

'Twas what any good man would have done. And it was excitement of the sort I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Though I'm not surprised you're the sort who would enjoy such things; were you not struck with an unfamiliar body, then?

Assuming this happened yesterday or earlier, then yes. I was stuck in an 'unfamiliar body' to be sure. But I'd been practicing my fighting in case something came up.

That thing about losing the house I wouldn't wish on anyone else either, but I'd have liked to beat up the bastard who decided it'd be a good idea.

Would that I had done the same; my body was capable and familiar enough to carry a blade, but the beast's shell proved resilient.

I was forced to withdraw, if only to make good my rescue ere the house collapsed into embers. By the time I'd returned it was gone; should you see it [He stops writing.]

Well, I've no doubt what you'd do.
