I am told this red bill will admit me to a theatre with one other; I was not aware we had such a thing. Pray tell, what performance will be on display, and are the actors of any appreciable skill? Paladin, mayhap you'd accompany me should you desire a reprieve from your duties.

I'd drawn my blade when I'd first laid eyes upon it, but it's yet to so much as claw or stare.

It seems fond of me, odd though it may be.

Even stranger, I see no mouth for feeding, nor any inclination to perch or settle.

I know I've seen similar... yet this one seems smaller and more like a common bat.

Do they make good pets?

I'm not entirely sure that is their purpose. However, I'm not inclined to think they wouldn't either.
