I am told this red bill will admit me to a theatre with one other; I was not aware we had such a thing. Pray tell, what performance will be on display, and are the actors of any appreciable skill? Paladin, mayhap you'd accompany me should you desire a reprieve from your duties.

It certainly is. Even moreso, it never seems to tire in its flight.

A theatre? That's new to me as well, though I would be glad to accompany you.

[Pause, considering...]

The one-eyed thing. I'd be wary of it.

I'd drawn my blade when I'd first laid eyes upon it, but it's yet to so much as claw or stare.

It seems fond of me, odd though it may be.

If that is so, then perhaps it really is harmless. Still, caution never hurt anyone.

'tis truth. I'd an eye on it until my head spun circles trying to keep with its mad fluttering; yet flutter is all it did.

Unusual choice for a pet, but I'll admit it's a little...endearing somehow.

Isn't it? Though I was hardly the one to make the choice.

Even stranger, I see no mouth for feeding, nor any inclination to perch or settle.

That's...ah, I know what that is. I can't remember what they're called.

Then mayhap you could say if I'd be better off ridding myself of it somehow?

They're harmless. Wing is one of their kind...different but still of the same kind.

You have one of your own?

...Do they ever, well, settle?

It's [pause] The creature looks familiar. I'm afraid I can't identify it by name, however.

I know I've seen similar... yet this one seems smaller and more like a common bat.

Do they make good pets?

I'm not entirely sure that is their purpose. However, I'm not inclined to think they wouldn't either.
