Ah, I always love reading your J/E. It's so...right. The other thing about your writing, I love...that I can see it all unfold in my head. Your use of language and imagery capture so much and bring to life the words on the screen!

LOVE it! :)

I'm so very glad you love it :-) Thank you! And I hope you will forgive me if it takes a little while longer to get yours done? I had hoped to finish the requests before going away on a vacation trip, but things have been hectic. I promise I will have it for you as soon as possible after I get back!

Well, you've brought me right along the curious path. Made me think of the blue glory I got to see outside of Sorento. And the beautiful Greek man who rowed us in ;-D. Most electric and she was in for a treat without compare. Tickles me Jack would know such secrets--seems entirely reasonable he would. What the hell else might they do on this or that stop? Sounds like Elisabeth when she's got her chin up, grown up as it were, being all what the hell Jack Sparrow? Liked this one as much as I would have enjoyed the swim and that would have really blown my skirt up! Thanks.

Thank you. I've been to a cave like that once too. No beautiful man in sight at that time, alas, but it was magical anyway :-) I'm happy you enjoyed this and that reading it evoked pleasant memories!

I like the sense of place here, with the shadows, the bat, and the dampness, and then the light-infused beauty of their eventual destination.

I also like that although he's the one who knows where they are, why they're there, and where they're going, Elizabeth is, as usual, the one with the upper hand, both when holding him at swordpoint and when challenging Jack to make it all worth the trouble, as it were.

“You’re devilish hard to satisfy, you know.”

*giggles* Oh dear, I fear I'm reading far too much into this line, but...hee.

You know me, of course I have to write it so that she has the upper hand. He did drag her through the spooky cave, after all, it's only fair he should make an extra effort. And well, I won't say you'd be entirely wrong in reading things into that line ;-) Thanks so much, as always, for the wonderful feedback!

I realise, now that years have passed, that time and tide wait for no man.
Or woman, as the case may be.
It is probably a hopeless note to cast into the void, since it is many a year since you have updated your journal, but I wanted you to know that I spent an enjoyable day remembering why I loved your writing so much, and falling in love with your fics all over again.
Whereever you are, whatever you are doing, I hope that you are still writing and giving joy to the world. :-)
