It's really weird logging onto LJ again after such a long time. Everything I wrote about on here seems so far in the past, and, well, just far away in general. Things around here have changed a lot. I'd like to think I'm wiser (as I am certainly older), but a lot of the time it just feels like new challenges and problems fall into place as you get ( Read more... )

But being confused isn't fun, Kitty! It inhibits real progress and is a big time-waster. I want to say it's okay to be human, but there are many human weaknesses which I do not enjoy. Does anyone, though?

We can't be us without the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens. Confusion, as much as I dislike it, is part of who we are. It's taken me a long time to work out that it's okay to not know what you're doing, where you're going, or why you're doing it. It's okay to be scared, to be nervous, to be anxious. It's okay to be you. Because it doesn't matter, in the end. And confusion, confusion is alright too. Because once you've got a solution, you may realise the confusion was better. (Then again, the solution can be fantastic, too).
