remastering update

In a fit of unusual forward-thinkingness, I decided to test my newly-ripped DVD source by making a vid snippet to check the appearance of clips with different lighting, levels of action, adjusted speed, etc. I exported the snippet as .rm and .avi at various settings, converted the .avi files to MPEG-2, and burned an SVCD with various versions of ( Read more... )

Your faithful minion will worship you more if you do a FOTR vid. Actually, I have no idea what I will do if you do that, I'll be so happy. It will make the world happy, and a better place.

And being really forward thinking, if you ever do a TTT vid and include that scene that Legolas does the arrow shooting and then hopping on the horse thing on the hill, I'll be your sex slave. Or a sex slave for one of your friends. Whatever you want. :)

Well, if I were to do a TTT vid, it would definitely be an Eowyn vid; Legolas does nothing for me, so I'm afraid you're out of luck. I'm sure there are lots of Orli-riffic vids out there, though.

Eowyn is good too. I remember (I think) that you said you'd read the books, I'm sure it'll be good regardless. Erm, not that I've ever had issues with fic or vids from people who have seen only the movies...

I'm sure there are lots of Orli-riffic vids out there, though. Orlando is okay, but I really liked that scene just because an Elf from the books could totally pull that off. The only thing that *really* upset me about the movie was how the Elves are pansy like and get outlasted by the humans.

Could you tell me which DVD ripper you use? I'm making my first vid and am having a terrible time getting the DVD ripper I downloaded to work...

Oh, this is good. Oh, I am very pleased. You have my complete support for becoming a psycho source snob. Full-screen Faith! My heart sings!

Oh, I've always got *plans*; the FotR has been in the works since last November at least, and the Firefly since . . . probably October. Plus plans for a half a dozen under-vidded characters and relationships on BtVS. It's when I *execute* the plan that you should start marveling. Heh.
