I love a lot of things about my job, but I do not like the fact that October inevitably turns into the month of CONSTANT MEETINGS. Oy. I did, at least, manage to take a long weekend in the middle of the month; I probably should have stayed home and tried to get caught up on stuff, but instead I traveled. I wish I had friends who feed me 6 course meals before chillaxing on a couch (or friends I could feed with 3 course meals, for that matter). Brits seem to sniff on the idea of having people over for dinner (I think they associat it with upper class snobbery???) and tend to go out for meals instead. But I miss it......

Most Americans tend to go out for meals too, but I live in such a small town that there's not really anywhere worth going out to. :)
