Have we ever talked about Nashville? Because we should. I love it in the way that I love trashy soaps, but it seems to have more going on in some interesting ways. I would welcome your thoughts on it!
I'm not sure we have! Maybe briefly last summer during a "so what are you watching?" check-in...?
Nashville definitely has its soapy qualities, but what I like about it, as I wrote last summer, is its emphasis on creative ambition -- and in the few eps I've watched in S2, what happens when those ambitions get fulfilled or thwarted.
