Also I owe you thanks for Beautiful in Los Angeles, the live version. I found it randomly on my phone and it turned out to be perfect for my treat. And the live version is just soo much better than the original so I'm very grateful that you turned me onto it.
And I'm so pleased to have turned you on to the song you used in yours; the live version is miles better, for sure. I saw the name of the song in the vid list and thought "Aw, Garrison Starr, yay!" but I had no idea that I'd actually been instrumental in its appearance. :D
So a great deal of this vid is my tribute to Emma Thompson's facial expressions of tolerant resignation. ♥
I really don't have much to add to that. Appart from: you have suceeded. Both Elinor's pragmatism and Marianne's dramatics shine though I probably loved the Margaret bits best - just because she normally gets forgotten.
Oh, Margaret! ♥ I love what Thompson did with that character in the screenplay, the way she's used to illuminate so much about her sisters and the times, the way she - and the other characters' responses to her - are used to introduce feminist elements into the film while maintaining the shape of the older sisters' stories.
And I'm so pleased that you liked the vid and that you share my love for Emma Thompson's expressiveness. :D
