Ten years in fandom

Okay, the title of this post is a slight fib; I actually found fandom sometime in the spring of 2000 when I was unemployed and living with a bunch of programmers who had superfast broadband (way before that was normal) and also cable TV. I watched a lot of X-Files reruns and found fialka's Annotated X-Files and lurked around various sites

I am pretty sure that 85% of my favorite things about and people in fandom can be traced back to Buffy. :D

ME TOO. And I am really happy that a) they intersected EARLY ON, meaning more time together!, and b) we have found so MANY fannish things through which to stay connected (Firefly! Farscape! Slings & Arrows! The Wire! music!), even after Buffy ended. \o/
